✨SAM UPDATE✨

To keep it very short and sweet. Sam had his tail amputated. Sam recovered & had sutures removed. ALL WAS WELL. Until, he then decided it would be a good time to drop his “tail” but instead only dropped the small piece of back end where it was sutured🙃🙃🙃 Why wouldn’t he wait til after amputation to drop it?🥲 But he’s doing great and healing very well!!🩷 Now I thought his tail wouldn’t grow back due to the sutures and cauterizing, but now that he’s dropped that back piece… I guess anything is possible😅

Fear is a reaction. Courage is a decision.

It’s okay to be fearful of the unknown or something we don’t understand entirely, but I can’t tell you how many kids (& adults) are SO PROUD of themselves after facing a fear🤩 I absolutely love watching kids go from nervous, & skeptical to curious, & brave!🥰

We made it through Maycember🥳 & we hope you all survived it too😅

As summer is beginning, we wanted to remind you all of a few things: summer weekday events are ENTIRELY filled & we are so excited to visit everyone at summer camps & daycares! We only have two or three weekend spots available for birthday parties now through August & believe it or not… are already booking into September for birthdays🤯

Speaking of visiting camps & daycares; if a copy of our COI, a W9, or any additional paperwork is needed, be sure to let us know as far in advance as possible so that we can get everything needed over to you. We understand new procedures & protocols may be put in place, so once that occurs, be sure to reach out & let us know as soon as it takes effect. We strive to be proactive & want to ensure we take care of everything on our end so we can provide the best service possible🥰

P.S: One day next week I will be sharing an update on Sam & his tail — all is good! He is great but y’all will NOT believe what he did😏

Hi everyone!👋🏼 I know it’s been super quiet over here but all that means is it’s BUSY season!🤩 Reptile experiences are happening daily & there’s no slowing down as we ramp up for end of the year visits over the next two weeks, & prepare for all the summer fun events ahead🥳 One day soon I will catch my breath & update socials more frequently, but today here are some really cute photos from a birthday this past weekend!😍

Last night was snake week at Spring Herpetology Hobbyists club & also our very last meeting for this session😔 I have had so much fun getting to know these sweet kiddos & teaching them all about reptiles while enjoying games, books, crafts, & more! Watching them form bonds and friendships with each other & helping one another, & cheering each other on is one of my favorite parts about this class every single time! I am going to miss seeing them every other week but am hopeful to see them all again in the near future🥰🫶🏻

Can we talk about how adorable this birthday girl & Blanche are?🥹 Also, I have been totally slacking on posting and I apologize! We have been busy busy & there’s no sign of slowing down!😍

•Sam is doing great! He gets his sutures removed Friday so I will post more on him this weekend🫶🏻

Last night was our ✨SPECIAL GUEST✨ night at Herpetology Hobbyists! The kids got to hold and learn about even more reptiles (& BUGS🤩) from the amazing people of ! They were all so brave & we had so much fun!! I CANNOT believe we only have ONE class left of Spring HH😭
