13 years ago today, I married my best friend.

Since then, we’ve built a family, built a business, traveled to beautiful places, celebrated victories, weathered storms, laughed until we cried, and learned that marriage is so much more than a wedding day.

As a wedding planner, I have the privilege of helping couples plan one of the most important days of their lives. But over the years, I’ve learned that the real magic happens after the aisle.

It’s found in the airport terminals, date nights, hard conversations, family vacations, quiet moments, and choosing each other again and again.

Marriage isn’t always easy, but it has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Happy 13th Anniversary to my husband, my partner, my biggest supporter, and my favorite travel companion. Thank you for continuing to choose us.

Today is a special day . 13 years ago , I married my best friend.

Since then, we’ve built a family, built a business, traveled to beautiful places, celebrated victories, weathered storms, laughed until we cried, and learned that marriage is so much more than a wedding day.

There is something special about experiencing a destination before recommending it to my couples. 🇯🇲✨

Weddings are a luxury but what is a luxury wedding? The answer to that depends on who you ask. Some people instantly attach a dollar amount . For the DCE team, luxury is NOT merely a dollar amount , luxury is an experience . It’s the intentionality ,the details, and the way your guests feel on your wedding day . What is the experience like for the couple and the guests ? What about your vendor’s experience ? It’s about curating moments that are meaningful and unforgettable and while it all costs a dollar amount ,spending $100,000 does not automatically equal luxury . Luxury is a vibe . You can’t put a dollar amount on memories and experiences in life 🥂🤍

This time in Jamaica was one that I’ll never forget . I first began going to Jamaica somewhere around 2011. I fell in love with the people and the rich culture and everything the island brings .

Although I’d been to Jamaica many times for personal and business travel, this time hit a bit differently. I learned new things , new companies and experiences to bring into my business and reach more couples and clients . The connections and experiences through were unforgettable. The is the perfect resort for all ages and celebrations, the adventures offered by were perfect for those who want to lounge on the beach , horseback ride , atv or zip line . The food was great and the speakers and exhibitors were so genuine and welcoming . I like to experience places first hand to be able to share the value with those who trust me with their celebrations ! Cheers to many more celebrations in Jamaica and beyond 🇯🇲♥️🥂🎇.
