Easter is such a glorious time, so much more than just a holiday on a calendar. We’ve been blessed to provide unique designs for a large local church , one that brings family together to have a special place to gather for remembrance and photos. This year, there were 2 campus locations, a colorful drape, and a window box with a center Crown.. white with florals, Easter lilies and thistles to symbolize the thorns. Out of death is new life. 💕🌸
My sister, Dawna Thomas, a wonderful designer , is my go to team member for such projects! Pictured here are the last 3 years… We have the best time .. a few years ago, we found ourselves in what felt like the worst freezing rain storm( no lightning) during installation, literally frozen solid afterward, chilled to the bone. The next glorious morning, was sunny, clear & pleasant. Wow, what a difference a day makes. What a difference Three days makes, leading to the Resurrection of Christ.

How to construct an arbor design! Ever wonder what’s underneath all the florals & greenery?
Super important to start with good mechanics & the use of proper tools, wire, etc. … in this case, the top supportive beam piece was very thin, yet sturdy, so a combo of chicken wire stapled in place with the addition of floral foam was sufficient. Filled in with materials & the final layer using twisted vines and grapes gave it the fall vibe. We were fortunate not to have high winds, and that helps when designing, making sure each piece was secured. 😍🌸🏞️🍁
