Hey Mahjong friends!!

I know many of you fell in love with my new set I’ve been using at our Mahjong events. I woke to find it’s on sale for 15% off! Woohoo!!

They have a many beautiful complete sets to choose from (I’m not sure if they are all on sale) but my set - the “purple” set is!!

It includes the tiles - the dots are cupcakes 🧁♥️

🀄 Mahjong friends, it’s almost time to play again!

Our next Mahjong night at Magnolia Lane is coming up Thursday, September 24 from 6–9 PM, and we still have seats available for Open Play!

If you’ve played with us before, you already know—there’s just something about an evening around the Mahjong table. The clicking of the tiles, a little friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and maybe even a few Mahjongs along the way. 💚

💙 Oh, baby… this shower was all about the details. 💙

Today Magnolia Lane was filled with the sweetest shades of blue as family and friends gathered to celebrate Becky and the upcoming arrival of Baby Cohen!

And this one is such a good example of something we say often: you don’t have to fill every inch of a space to make an event feel special.

From the soft blue runners and simple place settings to the teddy bears, gingham touches, framed family photos and beautiful florals, everything worked together without feeling overdone. 🧸💙 Even the food table became part of the décor!

But one of my favorite details had to be the photo guestbook. 📸 Guests could snap a Polaroid, add it to the book and leave a little love or advice for the parents-to-be. What a sweet keepsake they’ll be able to look back on long after the shower is over.

And then there was the Mother’s Prayer—a beautiful reminder of what this day was really about: surrounding this mama, daddy and precious baby with love, prayers and the people who will walk alongside them in this next chapter. 🤍

That’s what we love about hosting showers at Magnolia Lane. The decorations come down. The food gets eaten. The gifts go home.

But the memories—and the people who showed up to celebrate with you—are what remain.

Congratulations, Becky, and sweet Baby Cohen! We loved being a small part of such a special day. 💙🧸

Decorating hack: Repeat one element 3 times.

Instead of trying to decorate every inch of the room, choose one element from your theme—a color, flower, ribbon, greenery, seashell, etc.—and repeat it in at least three places: the backdrop, tables, and food/gift area.

It’s one of the easiest ways to make separate decorating areas feel like one intentional design—without buying a ton more décor.

Small detail. BIG difference. That’s a little Magnolia Magic. 🤍

From a first-time Mahjong to an incredible Heavenly Hand—last night had it all! 🀄️✨

The tiles were clicking, the Mahjongs were plentiful, and the room was filled with laughter and excitement. There is nothing better than watching a new player experience that first winning hand—or seeing a player land one we’ll be talking about for a long time!

What a fun night around the tables at last night. Thank you to everyone who came to play and made it so special! 🤍
