There are two things I want to share with you all.
-First, now is a great time to get on my booking calendar for the venue. October is filling up. September through May is our “year” and it is fast approaching.
-Second, I’ve made a page for my non-venue rentals. If you are renting the venue, most of these things are included in your rental, so don’t worry. I’m not going to charge you for every item in adfition to your venue rental. This is for things I rent out separate from the venue. I want it to have a separate page because I think it causes confusion if I were to post photos of my balloon work, etc. which is often at other venues/locations. I will continue to expand rental item options, so please click on this other business page and LIKE that page.

Summertime brings a dramatic shift at Whispering Pines. We slow things down a bit because the weather can be very unpredictable and cruel with its brutal heat. We are not a climate controlled venue. Early mornings or really late nights are still rental options for those willing and understanding that unpredictability. This past werkend some sweet friends were facing the possibility of canceling their outdoor party at their home, so we moved the party to our venue. It was hot for setup, but it was decent temps during the party time since it was overcast and raining. I am honored to have had this party take place at my venue. And if you need party ideas, check out the photos because this was fabulously done. The talent and creativity that went into this party was top notch! 🤠 🐎

As for what we offer during these warm months, I can still offer well timed party rentals at the venue (events ending before noon; after 7:pm gatherings). If you need off-site rentals for tables, chairs, arches and more, I can arrange those. I’ve expanded to add balloon arrangements and setups like the one in this post.

Freshly mowed and a beautiful sunset. Views are of the surrounding area and we are right by the water spray park. I love the ferns that grow under the extensive porch. Try as I may the vines are determined to climb the full height of the building and elderberry plants grow wildly everywhere. Ironically, I can’t seem to force elderberry to grow at my home. These shots are just a glimpse at how I see my building. It’s a spectacular old thing!

Friday night, I met up at the venue with two separate clients for chair rentals. It’s exciting to be able to branch off into party rentals that are separate from the venue business, but work well alongside it.

It was a busy, busy weekend! We started off by opening the venue up bright and early Friday morning so the decorating could be done early for this beautiful ceremony on Saturday.

I’m telling you it was all about the beauty this weekend in the venue.Talented individuals transformed Whispering Pines into their theme this weekend. This baby shower was elegant with beautifully made abundant desserts. Again, I can surely you put you in touch, if needed. This was the party of all baby showers. The family stayed for hours and had such a great time playing games and visiting together. Such amazing, beautiful memories all weekend at Whispering Pines! I’m so overjoyed to be a small part of it.

We had a busy weekend filled with beautiful baby showers at the venue this weekend. Saturday was a super sweet Petter Rabbit themed party. This group transformed the space. I added my snapshots first (because my snaps show the “space”), but don’t stop there because they shared professional photos with me. 👏 If you need a good magazine worthy photographer, I can put you in touch and I’m not sure if they offer catering, but they should be! They truly brought their theme to life and they were such a pleasure to work with!! 🩵💛

This beautiful arch was given to me for the venue!!! Eeek! I had no idea it would be so perfect in here. This gives my clients even more options when they choose Whispering Pines. I love my wooden octagon arch but this one is a whole different look. They can be used together or choose an option. I also have the new gold circle arch. So many choices to fit each event! Love it! Much thanks to the gifter!
