Can we have a moment for St. James Catholic Church? 😍

Because this is what you get to walk into in the middle of the Highlands.

The soaring dome. The intricate mosaics. The stained glass. The arches. The statues. The altar. Everywhere you look there is another incredible detail.

The church opened its doors in 1913 and has been a Louisville Highlands landmark for more than a century — and somehow photos still don’t quite prepare you for how beautiful it is in person.

Wedding venue? Yes.
Work of art? Absolutely. ✨
