We had the best time hosting our Fluffy Highland Cow Holiday Shoot here at The Ranch! Thank you to everyone who came out, shared SO many smiles, and helped make the day feel extra special.

A big thank you to Next Horizon Cattle for bringing the fluff, to Create and Capture for the incredible photos, and so much gratitude for our incredible community. Wishing you all the happiest holidays and so much to look forward to in the year ahead — we can’t wait for what’s next 🎄✨

Halter-walk practice turned scenic stroll 🌾🐮✨

We took a few of the Highlands out on halter today to get them prepped for upcoming events… but as usual, they had other priorities 😅

They stopped for some forages, and we got distracted by the view; golden fields, calm cows, and that perfect Colorado backdrop. Sometimes training sessions turn into some much-needed quiet time in the pasture.

Highlands + a good view = the best kind of detour. 🤎🌄

Sid and I would like to thank everyone that has helped us over the last few years down the Sparrow Hawk Ranch Wedding and Events road; but the time has come to say goodbye to the Wedding and Events chapter of our Ranch living.
We love this ranch so much but find that we are not using it the way we want to for ourselves.
Constant cleaning, organizing and putting away 1/2 completed projects for tours that never come to fruition is exhausting. Tours in the winter hoping that someone can visualize what it will look like in the fall is exhausting.
We gave it a go, and decided it’s just not for us.
We have loved the couples and friends we have made but it is time to use our property differently.
With that said… continue to follow along to see what shenanigans we come up with next!
