Awhile back, I shared my journey and some of the challenges I was navigating. I’m proud to share that I am now housed, working as the Kitchen Manager at The Nest, and officially relaunching Northtown Bistro under the new brand, Beef & Birds.

Beef & Birds represents the next evolution of my culinary vision — blending soul food traditions with California coastal influence. Many of you have already seen this brand developing over the past year, and I’m excited to formally introduce it as both a concept and a movement: “Coastal Roots. Elevated Soul.”

This relaunch marks a turning point not only in my career but in my personal journey as well. I’m deeply grateful for everyone who’s supported me along the way — from colleagues and mentors to friends and community members who believed in the work before it had a name.
