A stupid post

… because owning a business and day to day life gets complicated. While we were crazy busy pulling off our first double header wedding day with two of the most incredible couples and their families, my personal bag was stolen by some rando. Hard lesson learned. Thankfully nothing work related was taken or compromised and I spent this week trying to get back to some normal, which is why there’s been no posts.

Phone replaced. ID and cards replaced. I also realized my Coordinator mug gifted to me by one of my brides was in that same bag so I impulse purchased a confetti covered mug because everything gets better with enough oat milk lattes and macchiatos, right? ☕️

But when you’re knocked down, you let out some [more than you’d think] expletives, and get back up! We are working on announcements, new packages for 2027, and taking some time to relax as the season winds down.

Forever 💍

Delia & Christian's story started as kids who grew up and grew more in love. It was a delight to watch them on their wedding day so in tune with each other. Even while getting ready at separate locations, the laughter and excitement was exactly the same. And their guests? Well they packed the place, crushed the all black attire request, and never left the dance floor!

Perfectly In Sync

Andrew & Jack will make you believe in the type of love that can spontaneously produce an iconic theatrical musical duet. Their vows, while not at all planned together, were miraculously near verbatim. Family went into full production mode better than any Hollywood set to support the vision of a wedding day infused with a love of movies. From pink ready robe to late night nachos, this is one we will absolutely never forget!

A very special thank you to Andrew's parents and now Jack's in-laws, Lynne & Vince, for graciously welcoming us into their beautiful home that served as the weekend's stunning venue.

Back at it Soon!!!

Behind the scenes, we've been touring so many venues and even gearing up for 2027! We've seen a historic property, museum, a theater, music hall, and then some!

This week I took some sick time (and weirdly strained a muscle in the mix) but will be back to work this evening!

Fingers Crossed 🤞🏼

There's some spaces and themes worthy of coming to life so I'm hoping they manifest into the perfect weddings for us! We'll definitely be back with more but let's call this Round 1!

To quote The Rolling Stones, "No colors anymore, I want them to turn black." I want to head back to The Arches but go full moody, gothic vibes. Evening start time (maybe even in winter), texture focused decor in all black, low lights, pops of red. A reception fit for Dracula!

If some musically inclined nearlyweds are out there ready to get down at The Mill at Rockdale I am so ready! Whether it's an karaoke welcome party or microwedding with a full band, I want in! This space wants to be dibbed for I Dos with a side of your favorite genre jams!

When you see a castle, you just want to do castle things. My jaw was on the floor the entire time visiting Merion Tribute House and I cannot stop thinking about it. Whimsical, fairytale, medieval, Game of Thrones- any theme, I just want to work a wedding here! The space does almost require a cathedral length veil or a full cape for a Rapunzel moment so if you're dreaming of letting your hair flow down off the tower or cutting your cake with a sword, hit me up.

Fishtown Fun

Had an absolute hoot touring this space for an upcoming wedding! This old brewery turned restaurant nestled in a bustling neighborhood welcomed us is and honestly, blew me away. The immense ceilings, lovely staff, and eclectic space are sure to wow anyone!

If you describe yourselves as "foodies" or just want to show off the place you call home, consider a local restaurant buyout or catering service for your wedding events! Options for these unconventional plans can include an after party at your favorite bar, drop catering for your rehearsal dinner, or a family style meal reception at your go to restaurant for date night!

Entirely in Love

That's the only way to describe Kaitlyn & Michael's incredibly romantic wedding day! They were always holding hands and at the end of the night before the sparkler send off, they lovingly looked back at their venue and said "we did this" in a way that promises their next chapter willl be just as magical.
