“Groundedness” ... My guiding word for 2021. 🙏🏽

Setting my Intentions, speaking my Affirmations, and creating space for Gratitude is a way of life for me. It affirms my path, brings clarity to the vision, and healing to my Soul. It even brings balance to the imbalance. Someone said ... “Embrace the day before you chase the day!” Showing up for myself first is imperative to how I show up for all that I do. This year the vibe for me is just even more low key than normal. Laser focus, intense grind, radiating & spreading love ♥️ and light ✨ to all in my presence.

Take a moment to pause & breathe. Let’s tackle each tasks with less anxiousness and more ease. With the continued unknowns, pause & breathe again, then release what we can not control. Lean into love, gratitude, and a peaceful wellbeing. Know that EVERYTHING is working out for your highest good. Trust that.

Definitely a Proud Alumni of North Carolina & A&T State University! Wow... I graduated 20 years ago from the School of Business in 2000! ! 💙💛💙💛 This was the year my class would have been honored and celebrated our 20 Year Anniversary! However, the pandemic as we know changed the world. I would like send the entire Class of 2000 lots of love ♥️ & light ✨ and well wishes on your continued journey as you manifest more and more of your dreams into reality! I salute you.

Life in the present moment is a unique one living and working as a entrepreneur in a tough season, however it has still been a rewarding experience for the last 13 years and counting planning, designing, and producing lovely, lush, lavish, and intimate weddings, social soiree’s, and corporate special events for a number of years. Gratitude on a 1000! ☺️🙌🏽 I know social media can have the entrepreneurial life “looking” easy... Ummmmm nope! You are always working an insane amount of hours and hopefully you stumble across a level of enlightenment because soul/self-care is vital to continue to do the work and to do it at a high level of excellence consistently. 🧐 A blog post to come! Lol!

Let me also share that I enjoyed working in Corporate America for GE Appliances for 7 years right after college. I learned so much and met so many great Leaders who shared their knowledge with me! Thank you all so much! This journey has been an adventure! Looking forward to next chapter unfolding!
