5 Reasons to Book Your Wedding Florist Early 💒
If you’re newly engaged, you might be surprised by how quickly your dream vendors’ calendars start filling up. Your venue, photographer, planner, and florist all have limited availability, and your flowers deserve a little time to be thoughtfully planned.
Here are five reasons we recommend booking your wedding florist early:
1. Your date matters.
Florists can only take on a certain number of weddings each weekend. Once our calendar is full, we have to say no, even to a wedding we would have loved to design. Booking early gives you the best chance of working with the florist you really want.
2. Your venue matters.
Your floral design should work with your space, not just look beautiful in a Pinterest photo. Your ceremony location, reception layout, lighting, guest count, and overall setting all play a role in creating a cohesive floral plan.
3. Your season matters.
Flowers are seasonal and availability changes throughout the year, especially for a locally-sourced florist like us! We love helping couples find the flowers, colors, and textures that capture the feeling they’re after while still making sense for their wedding date.
4. Good floral design takes planning.
There’s a lot happening behind the scenes before a bouquet ever reaches your hands: sourcing, ordering, conditioning, designing, gathering mechanics and supplies, coordinating delivery, and preparing every detail for your wedding day. The earlier we can plan together, the more intentional we can be.
5. You deserve to enjoy the process.
One of the best reasons to book early? You can check “florist” off your list and know that someone you trust is taking care of the flowers. You don’t need to know exactly what every centerpiece will look like when you inquire. That’s part of what we’re here to help you figure out.
