The Dr. Jaime Yrastorza Legacy Golf Tournament comes to Applewood Golf Course in Golden on Saturday, September 26 — a four-person scramble honoring Dr. Yrastorza's legacy while funding life-changing cleft lip and palate surgery for children through Uplift Internationale's Operation Taghoy.

12:30 PM registration and silent auction bidding
1:00 PM shotgun start
5:00 PM dinner, awards and raffle

$100 per golfer · $375 per foursome · $500 hole sponsor
Lunch, drinks, longest drive, closest to pin, 50/50 raffle and mulligans
Field limited to 36 teams, all skill levels welcome

Every entry helps fund surgeries, training for local medical teams, and lasting access to care for children who would otherwise go without.

Chester Washington of SmooVe Ci**rs worked our event as a vendor. He's seen plenty of tournaments from that side of the operation. Here's what he said:

"I will have to share how this event put on by Mr. Andrew and Ms. Abby one to put in the books. I have done many golf tournaments and this will need a 5-star review. Met a lot of great people and hoping I will be invited to the next one."

When the vendors have a good day, the players do too. Clear communication, a schedule that holds, and room for everyone on site to do their job well.

Envision Financial Partners started where most organizers start: with a cause he believed in and a tournament he was struggling to run. Working with our team through those first three years, his event climbed past $22,000 raised annually.

The build kept going. Year four brought 116 golfers, 15 sponsors, and more than $25,000 raised for the charities his players were competing on behalf of. Then this year, the Shootout raised close to $50,000.

None of that came from a bigger budget. It came from structure, a field that kept widening, and a day worth coming back to, built over five years until the momentum did the rest.

Round up a foursome for a 1:30 PM shotgun start (registration opens at noon, check-in by 1:15). Your entry includes 18 holes with a cart, on-course contest holes, raffle tickets, and a post-round dinner buffet with an awards presentation and a loaded prize table — gift baskets, golf gear, polos, a golf bag, even a Nespresso machine.
