Okay guys tomorrow is October 1st, aka when normal people start celebrating spooky season (I never stop 😉) and I had to bring you guys the festive menu, I mean schedule of events.
So here they are, peep the shenanigans I made for you ghostie ghouls.
October 2nd (that’s like in 2 days 😱): a spooky, sexy double author book release… WHAT?!?!? Also it’s a costume party!!!! 👻 🎃 I know it’ll be a bloody good time, just like the outfit I’ll be wearing- spoiler alert, my kill3r is my date!
October 14th: Smutty at The Study; the first official meeting of the spice specific book club which will be hosted monthly here at The study. This month’s book is an easy to love, banter filled, masked hottie type stalker love story, ya know the norm anyways it’s called Lights Out by Nevessa Allen
October 22nd: Krew's Books & Brews official monthly book club! We have now found a location outside of my living room to host you intellectual baddies, and we will be having our first monthly meeting away from Karri’s chaotic household for our October’s spooky pick of Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier!
October 24th: LGBTQ+ dress your type mixer night. Of course October’s LGBTQ event would involve having to get dressed up. Everyone loves extra reasons to dress up in October right?!!?! So whether you’re single and ready to mingle, just checking out the fishies in the local pond, or want a fun date night out with your favorite person, this is the night! Come dressed as your type, yes that means if you want a hottie in heels, you have to become the hottie in heels, maybe you want a baddie in basketball shorts- you got it, throw em on! See you there, where the DJ will keep you moving and the drinks will keep you grooving!
October 24th: Suspense at the Speakeasy; yes yes, it’s another book club (THAT’S ENOUGH SLICES…. Oh you’re not chronically online like me? My bad) anyways we have brought you s**t, we have brought you slightly intellectually stimulating reads, and now we bring you wtf did I just read thriller/suspense titles, because why be scared of the monsters in your friends s**t book when you can be scared of the real monsters…. HUMANS. Anyways Octobers book is by my good personal friend (whom I’ve never met but read lots of his books) Riley Sager, “Home Before Dark” you millennials will understand why its important to be home before dark, because “it’s 10pm, do you know where your children are”.
October 30th: Spooky Bingo in The Speakeasy!! Ya know what, this event is gonna be fun and we do know the details already but you don’t and it’s just gonna have to stay that way, until yours truly creates the event ✌🏻 It’ll be soon promise because 🎶 “I cry a lot but I am so productive”. Stay tuned homies
October 31st: Sacrifices in The Study!!!
IM KIDDING. We legally cannot advertise for such activities. However what we can advertise is VIP ROOM IN THE BACK!!! Are you headed to the annual “is it slutty or spooky fashion show in downtown Lake Charles” also professionally know as the Cyphocon Halloween Crawl, well that’s perfect because instead of being sacrificed 🔪 you can instead meet me in the speakeasy at Library Riot for VIP treatment- details to come after I cancel all the vendors I hired for the sacrifice 🤦🏼♀️
