BOO! Just two ghouls with a friendly reminder…

Before you hit that "add to cart" button or head to the big-box stores, remember there are some pretty amazing people right here in Knoxville doing their thing.

And supporting local doesn't always mean spending money. Sometimes it looks like:

🧡 Sharing their posts
🧡 Leaving a Google review
🧡 Tagging a friend
🧡 Showing up to their events
🧡 Telling someone about a business you love

A little love goes a long way for the people pouring their hearts into our community.

So let's keep Knoxville's small businesses BOO-ming! (Sorry, we had to. 😂)

Tag a local business that deserves a little extra love this season! Let's give them some free publicity in the comments.

If you've been here since the beginning, you know GalFunction has taken a few turns along the way. 😂

It started with two women who really loved connecting other women. Especially women in business.

And honestly? That part hasn't changed.

WE haven't changed.

We still love introducing people who should know each other. We still get ridiculously excited when someone walks into a room knowing no one and leaves with a new connection. We still believe really good things happen when women get around a table together.

We've just realized that table can be a little bigger.

Because women don't only need connection for business.

We need friends. We need fun. We need reasons to get out of the house. We need to try new things. We need people who get it. We need community.

And yes, sometimes we still need someone to talk business with, too.

So GalFunction is growing with us.

You'll see more of what we're doing around Knoxville, people and places we love, encouragement for real life, opportunities to gather, and things we just think sound fun!

But underneath all of it is the same thing that started GalFunction in the first place:

We really, really like connecting women.

So whether you've been here for years or found us five minutes ago, there's room for you around the table.

Let's see how this next chapter functions. Together 🫶

One thing about us… we're gonna find an excuse to get out of the house.

So in the spirit of fall officially arriving in East Tennessee, we rounded up a few of OUR Knoxville favorites. From places we love to grab lunch or coffee to a few spots that deserve a place on your fall calendar.

Are these the official, scientifically proven Best Places in Knoxville? Maybe not, but we sure do think they're pretty fantastic!

They're places that we, Sara + Corinne, genuinely enjoy 😃 and if it gives you an excuse to text a friend and say, “Want to go?” then we've done our job.

Now help us add to the list!

What's one Knoxville-area spot or fall activity you think every gal should have on her October calendar?

Consider this your official permission slip to NOT reinvent your entire life this fall.

Maybe we don’t need a new routine, a 5am wake-up, 12 new goals and a personality centered around pumpkin spice...

Maybe we just need to call our friends, make some plans, try something new and actually enjoy the season we’re in.

Less pressure. More fun. More connection.

We’re into that kind of fall.

Send this to the friend, work bestie, or sister you need to get something on the calendar with 🍂
