Kilgore ArtWalk is extremely pleased to have local music duo Jeff & Jimmy performing during our Fall event!

Jeff & Jimmy are both longtime East Texas musicians, having played for and sat in with many different bands. They have both played in many different venues, large and small, indoor and out over the years. They've decided to "downsize" from playing in bands and taking a more laid back approach with the "duo." Just Jeff & Jimmy. They play classic rock, country and some soul. They love to put their own unique spin and groove on the songs they perform. They've got a big sound for just two people.

Regulars at ArtWalk Longview since 2018, Jeff & Jimmy are bringing their talent and enthusiasm to downtown Kilgore, and we can't wait!

We find the jewelry work of this artist interesting…and colorful, fun, detailed, bewitching, cool, eccentric, awesome…we could go on. We are excited to have AJ's Creations at the ArtWalk!

AJ makes a variety of jewelry and accessories such as earrings, card holders, keychains, cup charms, bracelets, stickers, and more. A fan of Kpop, books, and horror, many of his designs reflect these interests, but are by no means limited. AJ is also socially-conscious and offers designs for a variety of causes and credos, and fun pet-themed designs as well. He also does custom work, so you can always have exactly what speaks to you.

We are pleased to have Rosaleen McGinnis returning to perform at ArtWalk! She is a Sophomore at Stephen F. Austin State University studying Creative Writing, Literature, and Technical Writing. A performer in some capacity since she was 3 years old, she has studied dance, twirling, music, balloon art, pinup modeling, face-painting, and cosplay, winning her first cosplay competition at the age of 9. Rosaleen is the owner of GenZ Photography and Art, a preschool teacher at Woodland Hills Day School, a member of the Kilgore Geekend Planning Team, and has performed at both Geekend and Tyler Celtic Fest for several years.

Rosaleen loves reading, writing, volunteering, karaoke and Open Mic Nights, scrapbooking, photography, drawing, singing, RenFaires and comic-cons, and learning new skills and hobbies. She will be singing a mix of modern, Disney, and classic favorites.

It is our delight to announce a great artist coming to ArtWalk. Welcome Casey with Mr. Js Illustrations!

From the Artist:
My illustration/art studio is called Mr. Js Illustrations. I am an independent artist who just started doing conventions and shows this year. I do commission work, both in hand drawn and digital work. I also work with making personal logos for businesses and musicians as well. I do commission work and sell prints of my artwork as well."

Casey also does costume/cosplay prop, armor, and accessory builds, often modeled by himself and his spouse, and has received recognition at local events for his work. He's also created custom-painted Funko Pop box art, elevating the fun collectible to a new level of uniqueness. He will have some incredibly awesome work for Geeks and/or art lovers. You can also peruse the awesone fandom bracelets and gaming-inspired crafts made by Casey's wife Leelu aka NiftyChaos Cosplay.

We are delughted to welcome beadwork artist Candy Castillo to her first Kilgore ArtWalk!

Jewel by Candy creates beautiful, intricate designs with tiny, glittering seed beads. Strikingly detailed, these creations take the form of flowers, birds, and many other shapes. They are gorgeous labors of love that demonstrate the beauty that comes from talent, patience, and hard work. She also does lovely fabric work as well. You can follow Jewel by Candy on Instagram .

We are excited to welcome m a Vendor who has been (and still is) a member of the Kilgore Geek fam for many years, and is quite a talented artist, as you'll see for yourself. Check out Artist Amanda Sullivan with Artistic Magic!

A painter, crafter, sculptor, and sketch artist, Amanda is a great talent who likes to feature nature, especially flying creatures such moths and butterflies, in her work. A big fan of Poison Ivy, Harry Potter, and video games, you'll often see these in her art as well. She is one half of the Paint Water Witches with her mother Dawn, in which they feature their art, take up various art challenges, and share their artistic process. She's quite a fan of unusual arts and curiosities, a constant supporter of Kilgore Geekend and Kilgore ArtWalk, and is also a cosplayer and vintage pin-up fashionista.

You'll find Artistic Magic next to Kreative Spawns and D&D Leather during ArtWalk, so please stop by and show your appreciation for all of these talented artists and their many endeavors!
