With the cooler weather in the forecast, time to start making your outdoor social events happen!

Join us along with local animal rescues for Barktoberfest at Avalon Faire on October 4th from noon to 9 pm. Rescues will be available from noon to 4 pm. Food, games, vendors, souvenirs, music and beer!

On KLTV tonight at 10 the wall mural project will be featured. Avalon was one of the first p pole to sign up and our mural will be featured and the faire will be mentioned (we believe). Tobey Wolfe, who runs The Merry Mug is our artist for several murals on the wall. I believe, once finished this will be the longest art wall in Texas. But I can't tell you by how many feet it will be past the longest one now in Beaumont.

ICYMI - Avalon Faire hosted our first annual Lary Fowler Memorial Highland Piper Competition. These five gentlemen brought their music and expertise for our final Saturday - the woods were rich with music. Our thanks to (left to right) Bobby Durning (judge), Alfred Barrow, Eddie Selden, Colin Gavin, and Piper-of-the-Day Jacob Bowers for a wonderful day!
