Twelve years ago, I was balancing life as a Realtor and working full-time in hospitality. But beneath the daily hustle, there was a tiny dream. A quiet spark that whispered there was something more intentional, more creative and more fulfilling waiting for me. ✨

I took the leap, started my own business and never looked back.✨

Every ounce of my heart and energy has gone into nurturing that tiny dream, and here we are today. What started as a leap of faith has grown into a life-changing career that has given me the profound privilege of serving couples from all around the world.✨

I pinch myself every single day. I look at where this path has led, and I thank God for every blessing he has poured over Ibay Photography. Every connection made, every beautiful soul honored and every story captured has been through Him.✨

To every couple who has trusted me with their legacy, and to everyone who has cheered this business on from day one—thank you. Truly. This milestone belongs to all of us.✨

Here’s to 12 fun & memorable years... and to everything still to come. 🤍

If you’ve eloped with me & we walked the FQ.. you’ve passed these buildings. I might have even shared how her name is scrolled into the wrought iron balconies :)

In 1848, a French baroness stood in the middle of Jackson Square and decided to build the most ambitious residential block in American history. 🏛️

Her name was Micaëla Almonester de Pontalba. She had survived a murder attempt by her own father-in-law, who shot her four times and left her for dead in France. She lost two fingers. She did not lose her nerve.

She came back to New Orleans, fought her family in court, and then commissioned two massive apartment buildings that would frame Jackson Square on both sides. She personally oversaw every detail, fired contractors who didn't meet her standards, and even designed the cast-iron railings herself, weaving her initials into the ironwork for all of New Orleans to see.

Those buildings still stand today. The Pontalba Buildings are the oldest apartment buildings in the United States, and they were built by a woman who refused to be erased. 🔥

Follow Louisiana Uncovered for the stories they never put in the history books.

Some love stories don’t need perfect weather to feel perfect. 🤍 Amy and Will chose each other anyway — clear umbrellas, happy hearts, and the kind of joy that reminds you the magic was never in the plan… it was always in the person standing beside you.

Watching these two create a day that felt intimate, meaningful, and completely them at City Park was such an honour. ✨

Deep gratitude to our 2026 couples! ✨

To every couple who has placed their trust in us: You have officially filled our capacity for the remainder of the current year.

When we made the intentional choice to step away from the high-volume wedding model and strictly limit our monthly commissions, it was to ensure we could give every single couple our absolute best creative focus and energy. Because of your trust, we are able to keep that promise.

To be a part of your day, to serve as your local guide, and to preserve your visual legacy is an honor we never take for granted. Thank you for choosing intentionality over the noise.

Because we hold these strict limits to protect the quality of our work, we want to let future couples know that we are now booking 2027 elopements.

If you are visualizing a 2027 elopement and want to ensure we are a perfect fit for your story, our calendar is open for consultations. You can find the link in our bio to schedule a 15-Minute Vision Call whenever you’re ready. 🥂

5 Signs You Might Be an Elopement Couple 🤍✨

1. You care more about the feeling of your day than putting on a production for everyone else.

2. The idea of a calm, meaningful experience sounds better than a packed timeline and seating chart stress.

3. You want to actually spend your wedding day together — not apart managing guests all day.

4. You’re drawn to experiences that feel intentional, personal, and true to your relationship.

5. When you picture your wedding day, you imagine freedom, connection, and being fully present with each other.

If you read this and quietly thought “wait… this is us,” then an elopement might be exactly what your hearts have been asking for and we’d love to make your vision come to life!
