Everyday is coffee day at Urban Egg. 💛💜 Here are 5 fun facts about our fair trade, locally roasted coffee:
1️⃣ Our coffee beans are sourced across our current communities. We receive blends of beans from Papua New Guinea, Columbia, Honduras, Central America, Ethiopia, Peru, and Sumatra.
2️⃣ We only use fair trade coffee. Fair Trade holds coffee growers to rigorous standards that promote sustainable livelihoods, safe working conditions, protection of the environment, and transparent supply chains. Fair Trade ensures ethical practices across the coffee bean’s entire journey from the plant to the supplier.
3️⃣ Urban Egg coffee beans are roasted through a combination of air and drum roasting, which are perfect for ensuring even and consistent roasting.
4️⃣ We partner with local coffee suppliers at each of our restaurants to support the communities we call home and bring you a great cup of coffee.
5️⃣ We now have housemade coffee ice cubes. Always complimentary, just ask! 💛
