Long, emotional post coming at ya 🫶🏻 Let’s take a little trip down memory lane.
Since 2022, we’ve called our Columbus Park studio home.
And we really mean home. Our kids have grown up in this space. We’ve made friends here. Our neighbors have become family. We’ve watched this neighborhood evolve and grow, and somewhere along the way, we knew: this is where we’re meant to be. Our forever home.
We started this business in 2020, which, if you know, you know.From the beginning, we had a saying: if not us, then who?
And honestly, that little phrase has carried us through so much.
We’ve worked our asses off to build this business into what it is today. Every wedding, every arrangement, every event, every client who has chosen us over and over again has helped make this possible. And we don’t take that lightly 🥺🥺 Because this business doesn’t just support a dream, it quite literally supports our families.
We are two solo parents. That means our incomes from this business pay for everything. Our homes, our kids, our groceries, our futures. Sometimes it still feels surreal that we’re doing it. That we built something real. That people keep showing up for it.
And now, we’ve been given an incredible opportunity. 🙌🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻
We have the chance to purchase our Columbus Park studio space. 🤯
If you know anything about Columbus Park, or Kansas City, you know how huge this is. Not just for our business, but for our future. For our kids’ futures. For the community we love so much.
Over the past 18 months, we’ve worked our booties off to save, plan, sacrifice, and get ourselves as close as possible to this goal.
And we are soooooo close. Like literally, SO close.
Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be sharing ways you can help support us and this little dream of ours. We’ve got a goal, and we’re damn determined to reach it. 💪🏼
