This year has brought on so many new, beautiful adventures and I believe that warrants a reintroduction!
I’m Katelyn Reiss, the owner and designer behind the wedding flowers!
Here are a few fun things about me:
1. My greatest titles are wife and momma. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Fred, and we have two beautiful children, Freddy (3) and Holland (9 mo). They are the most important part of what makes me, me! It is very likely you’ll see one or more of their faces as we plan your wedding flowers.
2. I’ve been designing for over 6 years now! I began designing in a floral design classroom as a student at Mizzou, which led me to become a designer for the university’s student operated flower shop. I fully engulfed my world in flowers as I started working as a teaching assistant for the floral design classes on campus until I graduated with a degree in agriculture and received my certificate of floral design!
3. My favorite kind of flower is a Hyacinth, which is my daughter’s middle name.
4. I’ve studied floral design abroad in the Netherlands and it was absolutely magical. I hope to go back with my family one day!
5. I’m a lover of the Kansas City Chiefs, Disney World and a good Target trip!
6. I’ve auditioned for the Wheel of Fortune. I haven’t made it yet, but I’ll keep holding out hope that one day it’ll happen!
7. I have an in home studio with a walk in cooler!
8. I LOVE love. I genuinely care about every wedding and I find it to an honor to play a tiny part in such a special day of a couples journey!
