The Nation of Language show tonight has been rescheduled to January 3, 2026. There is nothing you need to do: your tickets are valid for the new date. Online ticket purchasers will receive an email shortly with details of the rescheduled event.

From Aidan: “Hey KC - Aidan here, with a bad news/good news situation. Bad news is, along with our radio session at The Bridge this morning, our show this evening at The Truman is going to be postponed. Ian has come down with something nasty and lost his voice 😢 I am so heartbroken; this is my home town and playing here is always the highlight of our tours!! But the good news is we have locked in January 3rd as the rescheduled date- we’ll run it back in just a few months to make it up to everyone! So if you need to get a refund on tonight’s tickets we understand (you’ll receive an email from the venue with refund instructions), but if you want to hold on to them, we’ll be back in January and we really really hope to see you there 💙 Thank you for your understanding, I know my city is forgiving and yall will stick with us through this!”

Our Story

Originally built in the 1930s as a former machine shop, The Truman is a multi-use concert & event space that features an industrial chic style with a modern edge. Our large main hall, entrance bar & lounge, open-air patio, and second story VIP area make for an incredible concert and event experience while offering views of downtown Kansas City. The Truman is located in The Crossroads Arts District, a vibrant and diverse community that is currently one of the most concentrated gallery districts in the nation and is home to more than 400 local artists and 100 independent studios. Our neighborhood is growing more every day and we’re proud to call it home.
