Most brides assume they only need one set of extensions.

The truth? Not all extension hair is created equal.

Extension brands vary dramatically in weight, density, quality, and the amount of hair in each set. One brand’s “one set” can be very different from another’s.

For Payton’s bridal trial, we used one set of extensions, and she absolutely loved the finished look.

But after comparing her trial photos to her inspiration photos, I knew we needed a second set—and not just any second set. We needed extensions with the right weight and density to achieve the look she’d been dreaming about.

The difference wasn’t about making her hair longer—it was about creating the volume, fullness, and structure that bring luxury bridal hairstyles to life.

At Fix Beauty Co., we consult with every bride to help determine the right type, weight, and quantity of extensions needed to achieve the look you’ve been dreaming about—while always keeping your budget in mind.

🤍 The right extensions don’t just add hair...they create the foundation for the hairstyle you’ve been dreaming about.

Some people just have an energy you don’t forget. That’s Payton🤍

She has the kind of warmth that’s impossible to fake and the rare ability to make everyone around her feel like a friend.

Payton and Brians wedding reflected every bit of that personality—from their grandmothers serving as flower girls, to their sweet pup proudly carrying the rings, to Payton walking down the aisle to Queen’s “Somebody to Love.” Every detail was joyful, heartfelt, and unmistakably them.

Her reaction at the beginning of this video says everything about our team & our quality!✨

Congratulations, Payton & Brian! Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure. I have no doubt the fun has already begun!🤍

I’m finding myself creating more and more variations of this style, and I have to say...it’s become one of my signature bridal looks.

What I love most is that no two are ever exactly alike. That’s the beauty of customizing each style to the bride. The texture, the volume, the softness around the face...every detail is thoughtfully tailored to complement her features, dress, and personal style.

Sarah envisioned something soft, romantic, and timeless, and I absolutely loved bringing her vision to life. 🤍

If this style feels like you, I’d love to create your own version.

Today, I walked out of my final cancer surveillance appointment. My cancer journey came to an end❤️

Five years ago, like so many, COVID turned my world upside down. I lost the career I’d loved for decades, and before I had time to figure out what came next, I was diagnosed with cancer.

I honestly don’t know if I can put into words the relief I feel.

One thing these last five years have taught me is that cancer doesn’t just happen to the person who has it. It happens to the whole family.

Larry has driven every mile of every trip to Mayo Clinic. He’s been with me through every appointment, every scan, every hard conversation, and every bit of uncertainty. He held my hand through losing my hair and through all the pain & fear. He never let me spend one second of this journey alone.

My kids carried this too, and today they get to stop worrying about their mom. As a parent, that may be one of the greatest gifts of all.

Somewhere along the way, life surprised me. Losing one career opened the door to another. Bridal hair and makeup has brought me friendships, joy, purpose, and so many amazing women that I never would have met otherwise.

Now I get to spend more time doing what matters most—being with my parents, supporting Larry, loving on my kids, and being Grandma to our sweet little Griffin, who has completely stolen my heart. Knowing I get to watch him grow, and hopefully welcome more grandchildren someday, is a gift I will never take for granted.

Five years ago, I rang the bell because treatment was over.

Today, I placed my hand on that same bell because my cancer journey has come to an end, and so has my time at Mayo Clinic.

Cancer was never a blessing.

It wasn’t.

But this journey revealed blessings I never expected—the unwavering love of my husband, the strength of my family, friendships I’ll cherish forever, a new career that brought me so much joy, and a much deeper appreciation for the ordinary days we so often take for granted.

Today is one of the happiest days of my life. I know not every family gets this news, and I will never take this ending for granted.

❤️ Today, I get to start looking forward instead of looking over my shoulder.

Heavy, silky, super-straight hair can be one of the most challenging hair types to style for a wedding day.

I know I packed a lot into this one-minute tutorial, so save it and come back to it anytime you’re working with this hair type.

In this reel, I’m sharing the exact techniques I use to create volume and long-lasting hold on hair that naturally wants to fall flat:
• Micro-crimping (only where it’s needed)
• Strategic backcombing
• Texture placement
• Dry wax spray
• Hidden support for all-day hold
• A polished finish without sacrificing volume

One of my favorite moments is Mandy’s genuine reaction at the end. She knew exactly what she wanted, and together we designed a style specifically for her hair—without extensions. ❤️

Beautiful bridal hair starts with great communication… and ends with a stylist who understands your unique hair.

Melanie thought what she wanted was called Hollywood Waves.

Then she thought maybe it was Glam Waves.

But neither description was quite right.
After reviewing inspiration photos together and talking through what she loved about each style, we discovered she was actually drawn to something softer, with high volume and more movement, and most importantly framed her face beautifully🤍

A reminder that brides don’t always need to know the right terminology.
They just need someone willing to listen long enough to understand their vision. 🤍
✨ What would you call this style?

What a fun, unexpected little ride social media has been these last few weeks. 🤍

It all started with one beautiful Oklahoma City bride, one unforgettable “bend,” and a wedding day that somehow took on a life of its own online.

Since then, so many new people have found my page through these joyful little moments. But behind the weddings, pretty hair, and happy photos, real life is still happening for all of us.

And lately, my own little world has felt pretty heavy… which is probably why the kindness, encouragement, messages, comments, and support here on social media have meant more to me than I can properly express.

One thing I care deeply about — especially mentoring younger artists — is staying honest and authentic in a world that constantly pushes perfection. You don’t have to pretend everything is perfect to still find joy, celebrate beautiful moments, and be grateful for the people around you.

Nearly 2,000 of the 4,000 people here now are brand new over the last few weeks — from different countries, different backgrounds, and different walks of life — all somehow connecting over beauty, artistry, hair, and shared moments in one comment section. That’s actually pretty incredible when you stop and think about it.

So truly… thank you. I’m both humbled and deeply grateful. 🤍

Forever grateful for the incredible artists, vendors and especially my brides who trust me to be part of their most special life moments. 🤍

So many brides dream of wearing their hair down on their big day….
but it can be tricky😬

It falls. It separates. What if it’s windy? It’s hard to keep out of your face while dancing! So, you end up fussing with & worrying about your hair all night.

A “crown-up” solves a lot of these problems!

You still get the softness and movement of wearing your hair down, but with just enough structure to help hold through the evening.

If you’ve been going back and forth on your dream of wearing your hair down, this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Please DM your inquiry - remaining availability extremely limited for 2026–2027.
