AK Event Design is Hiring: Event Assistants (Part-Time / As-Needed)
AK Event Design is looking for reliable, outgoing, and detail-oriented Event Assistants to join our team for the Spring, Summer, and early Fall seasons. This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves weddings and events and wants to earn extra income while gaining hands-on industry experience.
Pay: DOE (depending on experience)
About the Role:
This is an as-needed, flexible position. Depending on the event, you may assist a lead planner or independently manage and execute event tasks. For larger events, you’ll work alongside our lead planner to support full-scale coordination and ex*****on. We are a growing company with a strong lineup of booked clients and upcoming events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with event and wedding setup and breakdown
• Support timeline coordination and vendor communication
• Manage décor setup (backdrops, tables, florals, etc.)
• Provide support to clients and guests as needed
• Troubleshoot and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Outgoing, professional, and personable attitude
• Ability to think quickly and problem-solve under pressure
• Flexible availability (primarily weekends, occasional weekdays)
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
• Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Important:
This is not a full-time position or intended to be a primary source of income. It’s ideal for someone seeking a flexible side opportunity in the wedding and events industry—you can work as little or as much as you’d like.
