The show is produced by Mana, a collective of Filipino Alaskan storytellers, and shares the stories of elders whose lives have shaped our community.

The exhibit “invites you to the dining table where words connected people and where elders pass down knowledge for Juneau’s next generation.”

It’s First Friday!

The Unseen Ocean Collective looks at why the deep sea matters and how the remote ecosystems of the deep “offer a sense of hope, a reminder of nature’s strength and of what is still possible to protect.

Opening reception is at the JACC from 4pm - 7pm tonight. There’s also a chat with the artists at the Juneau Public Library on Saturday, February 7 from 2pm - 3:30pm.
