Another LMS2 Moment....❤️

Diamond Scholar teens are taking these connections on the road!💪🏽

Tonight 6 teens and their parents all came together to break bread and build connections before our teens go on a TEN day overnight college tour together with a partnering non profit, YGP!

We played name that tune (Kids vs Parents), ate an amazing Juneteenth festive meal, laughed, joked, talked about our present and future and simply enjoyed each other's company.

One thing that has been amazing about Diamond Scholars to see has been the growth with not only our family connections, BUT, the connections that are growing within our community for our youth. It can only get better from here.

Tonight was needed and will bring so much comfort for our teens who are first time travelers and especially those whom this will be their first time away from their parents.

Another LMS2 Event Moment....❤️

Diamond Scholars Teen-tor club opened its new season of club on yesterday at The rock center for youth and Children and our teens had an AMAZINGLY engaging time.

For NINE hours that really felt like two, our teens did structured play, created icebreaker games, had educational connections with Valerie L Harvey and LegoLove LLC, lunch provided by LegoLove which was personally delivered by the OWNER of the best new downtown location of Chick Fil a Dwan Thomas, snacks provided by BMG and simply a PHENOMENAL time.

This was SUCH an amazing start to our season and I know it will simply keep getting BETER and BETTER! Our teens were so excited to be back together and each of them invited new friends to join. With our new attendees, we were able to host our 1st prom debrief session which EIGHT teens requested to join the leader board to start planning prom 2027.

Another LMS2 Moment.....

The stigma of "making it out the group chat" is SERIOUSLY a troubling phenomenon and is getting worse for our next generation.

Parents, just notice how often we have to say how many adults in our life never actually make it out the group chat. Now, imagine the kids of those adults and how much they will struggle even more with social connections and accountability to follow thru.

Millennial and Gen Z parents are under a chokehold. Our parents didnt give us a choice and now WE IS TIRED! BUT, getting us out the house and sticking to commitments is what made us the success we all are today.

THIS is what Diamond Scholars Teen-tor club is all about. Our goal is to help continue rebuilding and shaping our next generation and leaders in a social and expectant setting.

Lets be honest, will Teen-tor club always be somewhere they WANT to go and/or is it somewhere we care to have to make sure they attend?!? But, its needed and our youth need to learn these values.

Our Diamond Scholar Teens are learning that it is SO much more fun and healthy OUT the CHAT.

Diamond Scholars Teen-tor Club provides a safe, structured environment for youth to connect and grow. Each month, community organizations host morning and afternoon sessions focused on essential life skills. During the rest of the day our teens have open time for games, movies, exercise, and socializing.

This month’s session, Monday, June 15th, 2026 features a Healthy Relationship Workshop hosted by Attorney Valerie Valerie L Harvey, Founder & CEO of LegoLove™. Using the Build–Disrupt–Repair Method™, students will explore:

- Defining healthy vs. unhealthy relationships
- Understanding consent and respect
- Communication and boundary setting
- Digital and social media awareness

Participants will receive a workbook and a personalized action plan.

Additionally, our youth will host their 2026 prom event debrief to share feedback and ideas for them to start planning their 2027 Diamond Scholars Prom. If they like the fun they see, this is their chance to be on our 2027 Teen-tor planning leader board.

It takes a VILLAGE!!!

In approx 4 hours the doors to YEAR 3 of LMS2events Diamond Scholars Prom will open.

Before even the start of year one Andrea Drea Thomas and The Yonna Foundation for Mental Health Advocacy and Support Inc has been a backbone for the success of each year.

There is no way that we would be able to finish this day without giving flowers where they are due to our 2026 GEM CHAMPION Sponsor, The Yonna Foundation.

Many people in life use the words, "I got you", "whatever you need", "dont worry, Ima handle it" and thats just it, they're WORDS. Andrea has been with us, walking this path for the entire journey and tonight her flowers are ready.

Another LMS2events Moment......

2006, got a call from Esha Bee telling me, girl..... Im pregnant and Im about to tell TC after I leave the store.🤯🥹🥰 Well..... shock and excitement are hard to hide, even over the phone.

April fools day, while on a flight to London, guess who decides to show up, MY GODBABY!

Thomas Clark Jr has been my 1st real baby boy and has brought continued joy every since birth. He is the sweetest soul and has a level of grit many WISH they had.

This year, baby boy became a TOP high school ball player after YEARS of eating, living and sleeping ball. So, when it came to planning a celebratory high school graduation party for a lover of ball, a real life open gym style party was a no brainer.

Typically, I stick to my management role only and every time I have to step outside my true ministry, it stresses me completely out. Well, some stress is worth it. 🥹

To my heart, TJ, CONGRATULATIONS..... Proud is an understatement of how I feel for the young man you are and the even better man you are walking forward to become at Rivier University! Continue walking tall as God continues lighting your path before you!
