Love love love!!

Some news I'm really proud to share: I just earned another award from the Wedding Photojournalist Association in their 2026 v01 competition, which puts me over 15 career WPJA awards!

What makes these awards special to me is who's doing the judging. WPJA competitions are judged by working newspaper photojournalists and picture editors, this round including Dennis Brack, Gary Porter, Kathleen Flynn, and Martha Rial. These are people who have spent their careers telling true stories with a camera, and they're looking for real, unposed, honest moments.

That's exactly what this image is. No direction, no posing, just a quiet, emotional moment of a parent soaking in the sweet moment of the couple saying "I do" that I was lucky enough to witness and capture.

To every couple who has trusted me to document your day as it actually happened: thank you. These moments belong to you. I just get to preserve them. ❤️

There’s something about June weddings at the farm that feels extra magical. The trees are full, the sunsets last forever, and the entire property starts to glow in that soft golden summer light.
