CJ Stroud plays great. Texans defense falls apart again.

Texans are 0-4. I discuss in the latest episode of my Playbook Optional podcast.

It should be said that CJ Stroud played a hell of a game today for the Texans and today’s loss is most certainly not on him.

He gets blame, but not this one. He was very good.

This is a poorly coached Texans team.

I hate saying that because I really like DeMeco Ryans, but there are glaring issues here that need to be addressed on many fronts.

Funny White Sox-Astros playoff story.

In 2021 when I worked for KHOU, I watched Games 1 & 2 of that ALDS series in my car in the parking lot of Minute Maid...then went back in for postgame.

I don't trust my Sox fandom in situations where I'm supposed to be neutral. What can I say, I'm human. 😂

White Sox vs Astros. Playoff baseball. Let's go.

Players need to be put in positions where they can succeed...and playmakers have to touch the ball.

The offense, more specifically the coaching staff, needs to do more of that moving forward because right now...this is hard to watch.

You can excuse the Texans losing the first game of the season because they were facing an elite Bills team. It was a coin flip game, a play or two and it would’ve gone their way.

However, today appears to have been a complete failure on every level, from coaching to players, against a team you need to beat at home.

They have plenty of time to turn it around, however, to say we’re all disappointed is a big understatement.

I'm out of town, unable to watch the game...but I see the halftime score.

What is going on there?

I had a MASSIVE panic attack this week. It wasn't about the Texans...but I get into both topics a little bit.
