NOPE! 😂 And here’s the difference!

🍞 STUFFING is traditionally a seasoned bread mixture that gets stuffed inside the cavity of the turkey or chicken and cooks along with the bird.

🌽 DRESSING, especially down here in the South, is its own glorious creation! 🙌 It’s usually made with cornbread, mixed with broth, seasonings and all those wonderful savory flavors, then baked separately in a pan until it’s moist and tender inside with those delicious golden edges. ❤️

And at The Rusty Pot, we take ours another step by combining our homemade cornbread AND sourdough bread for an extra-rich, flavorful dressing that is SOOOO GOOD! 🤤🔥

Over the past few days, several customers have come into **The Rusty Pot** concerned that we are closing our doors at the end of August. We’ve also received some incredibly kind words from people telling us how much they would miss us. While that love and support has truly touched our hearts, we want to reassure everyone:

❤️ **WE WILL REMAIN OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!** ❤️

The business that recently announced its closing is **The Rusted Pot**—with an “ED”—located in the Lancaster/Buckeye, Kentucky area. They are a completely separate business and are not affiliated with us.

We are genuinely sorry to hear that **The Rusted Pot** will be closing its store at the end of August. We know firsthand how much hard work, heart, sacrifice, and dedication it takes to operate a small business. We wish their owners and employees nothing but the very best as they move into their next chapter. ❤️
