Wow! What a journey it has been! I am beyond grateful and humbled to receive 2nd Place – Wedding Planner of the Year 2026 at the Hawai‘i ‘Ekahi Awards!
First and foremost, MAHALO to everyone who voted for Jez Events and to everyone who has supported me throughout these 18 incredible years! Your love, trust, encouragement, and support mean more than words can express!
A very SPECIAL MAHALO to the amazing coordinators of the Jez Events: Princess, Laurie, Ku‘ulei, Geldilyn, Glen, Lashunda, Courtney, Sara, Sheldon, Nel, and Shy! I truly appreciate each and every one of you! I couldn’t have done it without you!
And to the OG’s that first started with me, Munz and Tupou! I could never forget you two! The originals!
18 YEARS! When I first started, it wasn’t always easy. I remember hearing all the noise, the criticism, and the doubts from people simply because I was a male wedding coordinator. Some questioned whether I belonged in this industry. But instead of letting those voices stop me, I chose to keep pushing forward.
And that became my motto ever since: KEEP GOING!
Through the challenges, long hours, sacrifices, lessons, and countless weddings, I never gave up on something I truly love doing.
And now, 18 years later, HERE I AM! Still standing, still planning, still creating beautiful memories, and most importantly, still making couples happy on one of the most special days of their lives!
To all my past and present couples, thank you for trusting me with your special day. You are the reason I continue doing what I love!
This award isn’t just about winning. It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, the people who helped me along the way, and the passion that continues to drive me.
And lastly, but most importantly, THANK YOU, JESUS! Through every high and low, You have never left my side. Every opportunity, every blessing, and every accomplishment is because of Your grace.
