SPOTLIGHT POST: What you see in this photo are individuals who share the same passion and drive for events and wedding planning. It all started when I first met Kara (on the right) while she was working at the former Wedding Café. At the time, Princess (to the right of me) was interested in shadowing Kara to learn more about wedding coordination. But with Kara’s plate already full, she introduced Princess to me instead—and that’s how our journey began.
Princess has been with me ever since and has grown into one of the most loyal and incredible coordinators I know (the other being Laurie—LOL!). She handles all my email communications, schedules meetings with our amazing couples and vendors, and is truly the backbone of so much of what we do. From the beginning, I knew she was meant to be an extraordinary planner and coordinator.
One day, Princess shared her dream of starting her own events company with her wife, Kuulei. Without hesitation, I gave her my full support and was beyond excited for them. With my blessing, they launched Lei Elite Events right here in Hawaii—and yes, she’s still with me! I’m not ready to let her go just yet! LOL!
What this all shows is that competition has never been part of our vocabulary. Kara has since rebranded and relaunched her own company, Endless Moments Hawaii , and I couldn’t be happier to see her thriving as well.
It’s all about passion, drive, and lifting each other up. I love seeing people succeed—and even more, I love being a part of that success. I’m so excited for Princess, Kuulei, and Kara. They are truly amazing planners and coordinators, and I’m so proud of them all!
And best part? We all graduated from Farrington High School—represent!
