Tucked away along the shoreline of Olowalu Beach on Maui, this oceanfront gathering celebrated the beauty of Hawai‘i through vibrant design, breathtaking views, and warm aloha. Framed by swaying coconut palms and the sparkling Pacific, guests were immersed in a setting that captured the spirit of the islands.

Colorful tropical linens, woven chargers, bamboo seating, and orchid-filled centerpieces reflected Hawai‘i’s rich natural landscape, while relaxed lounge vignettes created inviting spaces to connect and unwind. As the sun set behind the neighboring islands, café lights illuminated the lawn and a stage accented with handcrafted surfboards and tropical florals brought an authentic coastal touch to the evening.

Great events don't just happen. They're thoughtfully designed to create meaningful experiences. This Meeting Professionals Week, we're featuring Tom Stanich, Senior Event Designer, as he shares his favorite event.

What is the most memorable event you've ever worked on?

"It was a custom neon palms lounge for a popular national burger chain.

For this event we created custom cabanas with LED Lighting, brought in custom neon-colored funky furniture and even had custom tropical linens all in neon colors. We had additional decor to match the theme that included custom acrylic pineapple centerpieces, and large neon palm trees."
