A HUGE shoutout to all our volunteers! From setting the course, hand-crafting finisher awards, running endless errands, hauling equipment, filling water, staffing TAs, course pickup, taking tons of photos and thinking of and executing ALL the little details to keep the whole thing running smoothy, you all rocked it!

We had a pretty spectacular lightening display out at the Forest Lodge TA (paddle/trek). Two teams were on the water at the time - Rib finished their paddle just as the storm closed in, PAWS stayed safe under a bridge and is now off the water and out on the trek. There were a few teams who hunkered down at Forest Lodge and a few others stopped at HQ to wait it out. Lots of laughs and stories traded during the down time.
