Hi, I’m Kate Sherry

I am a 4th grade teacher in Hayward, WI (although for the time being, I’m a 4th grade teacher from the couch in my pajamas).

As a teen, I found myself interested in the art of photography. The way great artists frame their subject. How sports photographers capture memorable moments. How a photo taken at just the right time can tell a whole story. This interest led to purchasing my first real camera. I brought that camera everywhere with me: Sports games, vacations, class, wherever. It didn’t matter.

Pretty quickly though, I realized what I loved about photography wasn’t just the art, but the human interaction. I loved capturing special moments in the lives of those around me, and then being able to gift that moment back to them. Whether that be a special moment like a wedding or a sporting event, or even just a night around a bonfire with friends. This is why I started KB photography. So I cannot only practice the craft I love, but I get to share that passion and those special moments with those around me.
