Not much sleep happened around here this past week! 😴💐 But when you own a floral business, sometimes that just means you’re lucky enough to be part of a whole lot of life happening at once.

This may have been Dowdy Floral Design’s busiest weekend of the year—two weddings, a baby shower, 10+ HOCO orders, and a funeral arrangement thrown into the mix. 🤍

Friday started with setup for the Kelley/Stanfill wedding, followed by a balloon backdrop and floral pumpkin centerpieces for a sweet little pumpkin on the way. 🎃 Then came HOCO bouquets and bouts, plus bridal party flowers and a beautiful dusty blue floral install for another sweet bride. 💙💐

Saturday brought two weddings at venues an hour apart, and I’m SO thankful for my girl stepping in to help—and drive—so I could sneak in a quick nap between venues. 😂 Once everything was set up, we got to slow down, witness a beautiful wedding, enjoy a VERY fun reception, and spend some much-needed time visiting with friends.

The weather was beautiful, everything came together, and it was one of those weekends that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.

To the absolute BEST customers and friends—thank you. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your biggest life moments. Weddings, babies, homecomings, celebrations, and even the moments when flowers have to say what words simply can’t. I never take it for granted that you choose me to be a small part of those days. 💐🤍

And OH—I’m terrible at remembering to take pictures when I’m busy 😂🤦‍♀️ so more pictures are coming once the professionals send theirs! 📸💐

It was a beautiful, exhausting, completely packed weekend…

And today, I NAPPED HARD. 😂😴

Thank you for keeping this little flower business so incredibly busy. I’m tired, but very, very grateful. ❤️

Wedding flowers are always a favorite. 💐

Loved getting to play with color on this one—bright pinks, soft blush, pops of blue and just enough wildflower texture to pull it all together. 🩷🩵

A huge thank you to the happy couple for trusting me to be a small part of such a special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! 💍🤍
