After more than a decade, almost 11 years to the anniversary of the very first event we hosted, we have officially sold Rustic Manor 1848. It’s a meaningful milestone, and saying that out loud brings a mix of emotions but above all, it’s filled with gratitude, pride, and genuine excitement for what’s ahead. Because the truth is, this dream wasn’t built alone.
To our family: thank you for standing beside us through every season. You watched us take every risk and carried us through the late nights that blurred into early mornings. Your support held us up more times than you probably even know.
To our friends: thank you for cheering us on, showing up, lending your hands, and believing in us even when things felt uncertain. You have been the loudest, proudest, most joyful celebrators of every win, and we are endlessly grateful for you.
To the City of Delafield: thank you for giving us the space to grow something so meaningful. This community embraced a vision that allowed us to fall in love with Lake Country. We so love the people, the small businesses, and the shared spirit of lifting one another through both successes and struggles. It is truly something special.
To the team members who poured their energy into this place, you are the heartbeat of Rustic Manor. You made it come alive. You made it unforgettable and it has been a true honor to work alongside you.
To the couples and families we’ve had the honor of serving, you filled our cups to overflowing. You trusted us with your most important moments, and that is something we will carry with us forever.
We’ve had such a rare privilege of our home blending seamlessly into our livelihood. Rustic Manor is where we said “I do,” just two weeks before breaking ground to bring this dream to life. Where construction blueprints doubled as our wedding guest book. It’s where we took a leap of faith, not fully knowing what we were building, only that it mattered deeply to us. It’s where our babies took their first steps across the same grassy fields where, like us, so many others promised each other forever. Where very late nights turned into even earlier mornings. Where hopeful ideas grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined. And somewhere along the way, it became even more personal than we could have ever anticipated. Our own family stood here and said their vows. Our friends filled these spaces with their love stories. Watching the people closest to us begin their forever on these same grounds is something that made this place even more cherished. Those memories are woven into every inch of this property and they will always be part of what makes Rustic Manor so deeply meaningful to us.
This was never just a venue.
This has been our home.
Our beginning.
Our proof that something beautiful can grow from belief, grit, and a whole lot of heart.
As we close this chapter, we’re not just reflecting on the past 12+ years, we’re celebrating them. Every season here shaped us, stretched us, and gave us more than we ever could have imagined. And if this place has taught us anything, it’s this:
You can build something from nothing, pour your whole heart into it, and safely know that when it's time to let go, you can leave it in the hands of someone who will carry it forward. Rustic Manor’s next chapter will continue to be rooted in the same values that built it from the very beginning: love, intention, creativity, and a deep desire to be part of something that truly matters.
So this isn’t just a goodbye.
It’s a thank you.
And while our chapter here is coming to a close, Rustic Manor 1848 is far from finished. We’re incredibly honored to pass this space on to Tim and Brittany Rockwell, the heart behind Fields (Columbus, WI), who share a deep love for this industry and the kind of intentional, meaningful celebrations this place was built for. We know the Rockwells, alongside our incredible existing team, will carry Rustic Manor forward with care, passion, and fresh vision.
We can’t wait for you to meet them and watch this next chapter begin.
