Dear Augusta residents and surrounding areas,

It is totally okay to party on a Friday… or even a Sunday! 😂🎉

Seriously, if you’re planning a wedding for October, please don’t wait until the last minute to book your DJ. October is one of the busiest months of the wedding season, and Saturday dates get booked FAST.

There simply aren’t an unlimited number of professional DJs in the Augusta/CSRA area, so once those Saturday dates are gone, they’re GONE. 📅

So if you’re planning an October wedding, consider being flexible with your date. Friday and Sunday weddings can be just as amazing—and sometimes even more affordable.

Your DJ shouldn’t be an afterthought. Book early, especially for those prime Saturday dates! 🎧💍

🎧✨ DJ Teddy Adventures Last Weekend! ✨🎧

Last weekend took us on the road to beautiful Savannah, Georgia, where we had the honor of celebrating Ashley & Reese at Savannah Bottle Works! 🥂💍

With Ashley representing Aruba 🇦🇼 and Reese coming all the way from Wisconsin 🧀, the soundtrack for the night was the perfect blend of pop hits, Latin favorites, and plenty of reggaeton. 🔥 Of course, we had to keep the dance floor moving with lots of Bad Bunny! 🐰🎶

One of the highlights for me was bringing my mom along for the trip. ❤️ She had an absolute blast and loved being part of the celebration.

After an amazing night in Savannah, we stayed overnight and headed straight back to the Augusta area to celebrate Ryan & Jillian at Pointes West Army Resort in Appling, Georgia. 💒✨

This wedding came with its own set of challenges, including severe weather and multiple power outages, but thanks to our backup battery-powered sound system, the celebration never stopped! ⚡🎶

I also want to give a special shoutout to my son, who helped me throughout the weekend in ways I can’t even begin to describe. Watching him step up and be such a huge part of our events made me incredibly proud. ❤️

✅ POV: The power goes out… but your wedding DJ has backup battery power. 🔋🎶

✨ Congratulations to Ryan & Jillian on their unforgettable wedding celebration! 🥂🎉

They tied the knot last Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the beautiful Pointes West Army Resort in Appling, Georgia.

What started as a hot summer wedding quickly turned into an event filled with unexpected challenges. Due to extreme temperatures, the ceremony was moved indoors. Then, as a severe thunderstorm approached the lake area, multiple power outages impacted the venue throughout the afternoon.

The biggest challenge came around 7:30 PM when the power went out once again—and this time, it wasn’t coming back.

Fortunately, we were prepared.

Earlier during setup, we made a last-minute decision to return to our home base and pick up a portable battery power station. That decision proved invaluable later in the evening when the venue lost power for good.

Instead of ending the celebration early, the music kept playing, the dance floor stayed packed, and the party continued all the way until 10:00 PM! 🎉⚡

It was truly a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. ❤️🕺
