My venue already has a coordinator, so I don’t need a wedding planner… right?

Not quite—and this is one of the biggest misconceptions I see in wedding planning.

A venue coordinator is there to manage the venue and venue-specific logistics.

Think access to the space, venue policies, in-house staff, and everything directly related to the
property.

A wedding planner or day-of coordinator is there to manage your wedding—your vendors, timeline, setup, ceremony cues, reception details, last-minute changes, and all the
moving pieces happening behind the scenes.

Both roles are incredibly valuable.

They’re just not interchangeable.

And knowing exactly who is responsible for what before your wedding day can make the difference between spending the day answering questions… and actually being present enough to enjoy it. 🤍
