I had the most beautiful Sunday at home in my garden, sprinkling my best friend Lucy with her sisters and friends. To know Lucy is to love Lucy, and I’m so grateful that in this life I’ve had the privilege of her friendship all these years. She’s the friend that walks in the room, and if there were any clouds, suddenly it feels like sunshine again. As she readies for baby number 2, I’m so happy we got to celebrate her with the same love and affection she has for all of us.

A very special thank you to her sisters Angela & Janet. Also, for providing the delicious brunch menu, and for the fabulous cake - Stella was so generous, and matched the design of the cake to our invites and menus.

I had such a special time creating my best friend Nora’s daughter Alana’s baptism reception. After church, Nora & Jonathan decided to host the reception at the Regency, where we’ve had so many special memories, and now one more for the books.

Using Nora’s dress as the inspiration, when she was shopping she sent me a pic before she bought it, and my first reaction was - that’s the one! We used her dress for inspiration and chose blooms, vases, and candles all to complement the beautiful multicolor dress she wore. (Obviously, Alana would be in all white in keeping with tradition)

Thank you to the amazing teams that brought this all to life including , the beautiful rentals from , for our photos, and for keeping all the kids entertained.
