The roses chose abundance this weekend and we had more than enough to fill our bouquets with them yesterday. So I decided to set a couple rose bunches out at the stand. Wasn’t sure anyone would want them, but to my happy surprise, they sold almost immediately. So I’ve set out more today! In these bunches are Princess Charlene de Monaco, Parfuma Bliss, Forever Amber, Soul Sister, Moonlight Romantica, PowerPuff Pink, and Honey Dijon. Available at the farm stand this weekend!

I’m so happy that I am getting to share my love for roses with you all and I hope someday when I’m older you all know me as the Crazy Rose Lady in Gilroy.

I don’t know why I didn’t think to set out rose bunches before. My own limiting thinking had been stopping me. What limiting thought are you letting go of this weekend?

PS - I figured out how to use the timer on my phone camera rather than bugging Todd who was on the phone with his mom. Don’t make fun of my first attempt. 🤣 I am a boomer trapped in a millennial’s body. Raise your hand if you relate. 🙋🏽‍♀️

In case you need a reason to drive out to the countryside in this beautiful weather…

We’ve got market bouquets in bold and bright colors and long lasting stems! We also have premium and lux bouquets featuring the first of our dahlias (see video in last slide).

As always, our flowers travel about 500 human steps to get to you instead of the 5,000 jet miles cut flowers typically travel. This year we tried the new ProCut lemon lite sunflowers. We’re loving them! (All ProCuts are pollenless so no mess on your table!)

Deadheading is one of those flower farming tasks that you need a stone cold heart for. Some days it’s harder to accept that blooms like these are for the compost bin. Today was one of those days. But I toughened up and the field is deadheaded. You can’t save every bloom. Though I did snap pictures of a few of my favorites to share with you. Martha Stewart and Parfuma Bliss. 🩷🧡

We’re open!

We’ve got mixed bouquets and sweet pea bunches! Sweet pea bunches are of limited quantity.

Due to the heat, we are keeping our stock in the walk-in today and refilling the stand as necessary so your flowers will be at their freshest.

We loved hosting the South County Fleurs today! What an interesting and strong group of women with a lot of collective knowledge and passion for gardening. So grateful they wanted to gather at our little farm for their end-of-year potluck. We were happy to have them. (I am a member of the group myself but never seem to be able to leave the farm on Wednesday mornings for meetings! Just came back in from cutting sweet peas from the field. We are opening THURSDAY this week to make sure we are fully stocked for graduation! We’ll have regular bouquets as well as these fragrant sweet pea bunches. Congrats to all our local graduates!
