Flowers are a part of all of our lives. In this floral competition show we want floral designers that know they are unique and magical. Who will be the best?
The The Boylston Rooms looked GORGEOUS. It's an amazing reception space and it didn't hurt that the bride's color scheme was unique, feminine, and a touch funky. I used 4 kinds of eucalyptus from Regional Farms, Inc..in the runners for the tables.

My directions for the bridal bouquets: elegant, lush, and messy! Those are pretty much the perfect directions for me since it's what I love best. — with Lauren Dobish Photography, Regional Farms, Inc.. and Kings Country Gardens at The Boylston Rooms

One month ago today I was fortunate to do the wedding flowers for a very stylish and elegant (and from the instagram feed of the bride - super FUN) wedding. I was waiting to share until I wrote out an entire blog post but the pictures Lauren Dobish Photography shared with me are too beautiful to keep to myself.
The reception was at The Boylston Rooms in Easthampton and it was simply gorgeous. Between the industrial chic space and the perfect feminine-but-funky color scheme that the bride chose (blush, white, and gold) it all came together.
I had wanted to use my own peonies, but it was a cool spring and they weren't ready, so I got gorgeous white and blush peonies overnighted from a grower in Kentucky (Kings Country Gardens) and I got all the eucalyptus (there was a LOT: 200 feet of centerpiece garlands) direct from Regional Farms, Inc. in California. So while I didn't grow much of what I used, 90% of these wedding flowers were American Grown Flowers, which is really important to me!

How long will a garland stay fresh? I want it fresh and green on Christmas day, when should I order?
