🎂 10 YEARS ON THE AIR! 🎂

Can you believe it? KFFR is officially a decade old! 🎈
We started as the little station that could, and now we’ve grown to reach all of Grand County. Well, except for when there's a pesky mountain in the way and we're working on that! 🏔️📡

For ten years, we’ve been your voice, your soundtrack, and your community connection. From the first tiny broadcast to reaching every corner of the county, we are so proud of how far we’ve all come together as the "Grand" community. The foundation is laid and settled, but trust us that KFFR is just getting started. 🚀✨

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
📅 June 10th – KFFR Birthday Bash!
📍 Granby Ranch

We are celebrating in style in the midst of our Spring Fundraiser Drive! 🎙️ Every donation helps keep the airwaves strong, the music alive, and the local voices heard as we look toward the next decade. We have big plans to amplify this community even further, so stay tuned for all the upcoming goodies! 🎁🎶

Happy Birthday, Grand County Community Radio! We did it! 🥂🙌

Every “no” means you’re still in the game.

Most people hear rejection and immediately retreat.

Ego bruised.

Confidence shaken.

Momentum gone.

That’s why they stay stuck.

Winners treat rejection like reps.

One more attempt.

One step closer.

You don’t reach big goals by avoiding rejection.

You reach them by surviving enough of it.💪🔥

❄️TRAVEL ALERT ❄️ | First Major Spring Storm of the Season

A developing storm arrives Thursday night (3/5/26), bringing snow to mountain passes, the I-70 Mountain Corridor, foothills and portions of the Front Range through Saturday morning (3/7/26).

Mountain passes and the Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels approach will see snowpack and icy conditions through much of Friday, with elevated snow rates at times. Expect slow travel and possible traction law enforcement along the I-70 Mountain Corridor. Truckers must chain up when the chain law is enacted. Residual impacts are possible Saturday morning before recovery arrives.

Along the Front Range, roads will be slick near the Palmer Divide and I-25 south of Castle Rock Friday morning. Lower elevation roads will stay mostly wet during the day, but impacts increase Friday night where snow is still falling.

Heavy weekend ski traffic will compound difficult conditions on I-70 from the foothills through Vail Pass. Allow extra travel time, and never pass a plow on the right.

Slow down, leave extra space and check conditions before you go.
