We are excited to share our summer lineup!
Our Kids’ Learning Lab is an engaging and educational program designed to immerse children, aged 6 to 12, in nature. Through hands-on activities, crafts, and games, kids explore topics like macroinvertebrates and water quality, animal habitats and adaptions, and riparian ecosystems. Each session includes a tour of the Headwaters River Journey Museum.
Put your problem-solving skills to the test at our Kids' Learning Lab 2.0! In this hands-on program designed for ages 11–13, participants tackle real engineering challenges and work through tasks that require creative thinking, teamwork, and a little trial and error.
Nature journaling is the practice of recording what you notice in the natural world. No skills required, just a curiosity and willingness to look closely at the world around you. It's the perfect way to deepen your appreciation for nature, one observation at a time.
Join us for guided museum tour of the Headwater River Journey Museum, where you will learn about the importance of the Fraser River. Then we will head outdoors for a walk through the nearby watershed to see firsthand how the concepts come to life in the landscape.
