Please join us for the Be a Flu Fighter event on Friday, September 18, from Noon to 3 p.m. at Parkview Field and get your annual flu vaccine!

We want to fill the Lincoln Event Room at Parkview Field with community members protecting themselves, their friends and family, and our community against the flu this season.

Enjoy:
🌭 Free hot dog lunch
🎉 Activities for all ages
💉 Free flu shots for everyone 6 months and older
🪪 Have commercial insurance? Bring your insurance card and help “pay it forward” for someone else in our community!

Flu vaccines will be available to everyone 6 months and older. If you have commercial insurance, please provide your insurance information. When your insurance covers your vaccination, it helps Super Shot extend its resources to provide vaccines to others in our community this season.

Be a Flu Fighter

Being a Flu Fighter is about more than getting your flu shot. It’s about being an advocate, role model, and champion for our community’s health.

Together, we’re working toward the Healthy People 2030 goal of vaccinating 70% of residents ages 6 months and older each year. Community leaders like you can help us get there by getting vaccinated and encouraging others to do the same.

25 years later, the memories of that day still remain in our hearts.

Today, firefighters, members of our community gathered at parkfield to climb the stairs. Not only to remember september eleventh, but to honor the brave men and women who ran towards danger and you remember every innocent life that was lost.

With every step we carry their memory with every breath, we honor their sacrifice, and with every name we remember, we remind ourselves that their stories will never be forgotten.

Twenty five years have passed, but we always remember.
We will always honor.
