Still in season over here at absolute, and we had ourselves a PARTY on Saturday.

From the start, it was obvious why they were referred to us. Our bride, Niki, groom, Frank, and the MOB, Eda, showed us exactly who they were from day one, and they never wavered.

Niki was happy to be along for the ride. As chill and nonchalant as they come, she trusted us and our process completely. Her heart beats for everyone around her before it beats for herself, and it’s people like that who deserve the world. We were determined to give it to her.

As Frank’s best man put it, “In this day and age, he’s a rarity—an actual solid, good man to the core.” He is exactly that. Steady, grateful, and the kind of person you instantly root for.

And then there is Eda. A MOB who truly owns that title.

Eda is direct in the most hysterical way. You value her honesty because you always know exactly where you stand. She was adamant that the end result be anything but basic. We feel confident we delivered.

Eda booked The Breakers Palm Beach before Niki was even engaged. Yes, she knew it was coming, but she also knew her daughter valued her opinion and trusted it.

The day Frank proposed, they came to celebrate at The Breakers, where family was waiting, along with MCD holding a sign that read:

“Welcome to your wedding venue.”

I don’t think anyone would be disappointed to have the honor of getting married there.

The hospitality. The precision. The teamwork. The pride in ex*****on.
It operates like a perfectly choreographed performance where every detail matters and every person plays their role exceptionally well. Being woven into that fabric is always an honor. The standard is the standard.

This event had guests offering praise all night, vendors feeling inspired, staff feeling proud, and reminded us exactly why we pour so much into what we do.

Two weeks later, we are still thinking about this one.

It was intimate. Intentional. Every conversation mattered. Every hug lasted a little longer. Every toast landed a little deeper. Every moment felt significant.

What overwhelmed us most was the way these two move through the world together. The respect. The admiration. The way they listen to one another. The way they make each other better. They are the kind of couple that draws people in effortlessly, and once you’re in their orbit, you understand why everyone loves them so deeply.

The bonds surrounding them were impossible to ignore. A bride and her sister. A groom and his brother. A father and daughter. Family, chosen family, lifelong friends. Love was everywhere you looked.

It felt like a family reunion and a giant celebration all at once. Equal parts emotional, joyful, meaningful, and wildly fun. A mini rager.

From day one, they trusted our guidance, respected our expertise, and allowed us to do what we do best. That trust made the planning process seamless and the experience infinitely more rewarding.

We left this wedding feeling grateful, not just for the opportunity to plan it, but for the chance to witness a love story and a community this special.

Like so many of my peers, I’ve found myself deeply reflecting on two recent pieces shared by industry voices I respect tremendously, & .

Both have stayed with me all day because they so clearly articulate the tension so many of us in this industry are navigating right now as well as what it means to evolve, adapt, protect creativity, maintain standards, and continue delivering at the highest level in a changing landscape.

I don’t view either perspective as negative. In fact, I think both are necessary. A yin and a yang.

Both can be true at the same time!!!
And somewhere in the middle of those conversations is where growth, self-awareness, and the future of our industry live.

Jordan and Andre’s wedding was one of those designs that just clicked.
Big, lush greenery overhead. Simple tulips in glass. Candlelight doing most of the heavy lifting. Black and white keeping everything crisp and intentional.

We weren’t trying to reinvent anything here. Just let the elements work together in a way that felt right for them.

Sometimes that’s all you need.

Saturday was so special because not only do we love doing mitzvahs and all kinds of events outside of weddings, but we were lucky enough to be brought in two years ago for the planning of their older daughter’s bat mitzvah, and we fell in love hard with this family. They are salt of the Earth, joyful people, and it trickles down to both of their daughters, who are best friends.

We remember that first bat mitzvah being so fun and such a party, but what stood out the most is how incredible the group of 13-year-old kids were. So innocent and fun and well-behaved.

Fast forward to two years later and the same thing applied for Remi’s bat mitzvah.

Over 100 kids and the energy blew the roof off of the basement at the Edition. I’m serious. It was shaking. We do mitzvahs almost every weekend and our dancers, as well as our MC and DJ, said that they’ve never had a crowd like this.

It’s all an extension of how special the Meran family is.

Everyone wants to be at their events.
Everyone loves their daughters.
Everyone is so kind.

Kari and Jeff, if you are really telling us that there is not a third daughter that we can plan a mitzvah for, then we will get to work early on the weddings for Reese and Remi, because we are now your planner for life. And we would like to be a part of your family forever.
