It's rare that a photo of me will sneak into your wedding gallery. Most of the time, I'm doing my best to blend into the background on your big day, communicating with vendors and your family + wedding party to keep things flowing smoothly. But every now and then, a photographer like will capture some of these behind the scenes moments of me doing what I love:

Melissa & Cole had so much community infused into their day. A memorial charm on Melissa's bouquet, their dear friend as officiant, hand-painted plates, a heart-shaped cake made by Cole's sister, and many more acts of love and service provided by friends and family.

I firmly believe that weddings are about your people, and your in-the-moment experiences. ✨ My favorite part of weddings is the intangible magic of gathering everyone you love together. But I'll confess that sometimes the little physical details are so thoughtful and personal, they steal my heart. And I'm so grateful when amazing photographers like give each detail a spotlight moment, so we can remember them forever.

Chloe & Elizabeth nearly ruined my career last weekend with their wonderful, contagious love. I wanted to quit as soon as their event was over because, how could I ever top this? (But I am a little too excited about next year's clients to quit yet. 😅 I promise!)
