Just another weekend. Crushed a couple weddings, had a banger karaoke night, and I mean a BANGER of a karaoke night. The kind of banger where we go almost half an hour past end time and if I had printed off more sign up slips we'd go even later!

But, luckily for you, you we do this every Saturday!

Last night marked the 5th occasion that I've been told by a guest that I was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding. The last couple days have been a little rough but hearing that just made it all feel so worth it.

This was an absolutely INCREDIBLE crowd and they just wouldn't stop dancing! Also, I've got to give an honorable mention to the bride and groom for setting a new record with the longest dance music playlist I've been given yet. In total, they gave me over 13.5 hours worth of music to pull from and they were ALL bangers. Brian, Liz, my God you guys know how to party!

And it's just about time to head up to Old Hickory Farm up in Weedsport to get ready to do it all again!

The crowd on Saturday for was absolutely off the hook! Playing for groups like yours truly is what makes this the absolute best job in the world. I had to get a selfie with all these beautiful people before dropping the last track and calling it a night (Damn you noise ordinances! You're the bane of all DJs!)
Gustavo, Taylor, you were an absolutely wonderful couple to work with and I wish for many long years for you both!

I think today will be a fine day to start getting music sorted to do this all again for .loan this Friday!

God I love my job.

Behold, the humble origins of ShadoFire Entertainment. Notice the computer speakers that I have plugged in with a Y-cable, notice the abhorrent lack of cable management (of the three, whole cables that were used), notice the mini-controller, my old Reloop Mixage that I first started off with in what almost feels like a whole other lifetime ago, notice the cheap wire rack that I used as a laptop stand for way too long. This was pretty much how it started though, a friend would say they were planning on having a party or even just having a few people over to hang out, and I would say "cool, I'll DJ".

It was a simpler time, for sure, but in the years since my equipment and setup have grown significantly and I'd like to think that I've grown just a little bit since then as well, just don't tell anybody.

I love my job so much. Spent today up in Auburn at the Prison City Brewery to DJ their Christmas in July party, celebrating the anniversary of the greatest Christmas movie ever, Die Hard! We had trivia, we had prizes, we had live news updates from Nakatomi Plaza and, perhaps most importantly, we had a BANGING soundtrack!

Huge shout-out to Amy Campanelli for putting this all together and for bringing us on board to jam out here again!

My people, I have a great favor to ask of you. I've just recently finished getting a proper google business listing set up and I find myself with a terrible lack of reviews! DJ'd and ran karaoke for a graduation party last night, got home a little after 1AM. 6:30AM now and we're all set up for Sunrise Yoga here at the Dicks Open. There truly is no rest for the wicked...or sound techs.
Y'all are lucky I love my job as much as I do.

Got the photos from my first wedding of this season with and and I had to post a few highlights. Kudos to for being able to navigate such a packed dance floor while still capturing some great moments!

As you can see, a rather great time was had by all in attendance, myself included.
