World-class entertainment for everyone. 🎶🎭🎤🎻 The Kirkland Fine Arts Center boasts a 1,903 seat auditorium on Millikin University's campus in Decatur, Illinois.

📣 Drumroll please...🥁 David Bruns is back at Millikin as the Kirkland Fine Arts Center Production Manager!

🎓 David holds an MFA in Lighting Design and Technology from Kent State University, and a B.S in Arts Administration from Millikin University.

✨ Since returning to Decatur from Kent State, David has been serving Renaissance Church as their Technical Director.

🥁 His design work spans plays, musicals, concerts, and percussion ensembles—his personal favorite.

🎤 While lighting is his primary specialty, David brings experience across all areas of entertainment technology.

➡️ He is thrilled to join the Kirkland Team and is especially looking forward to The Music of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit & The Rings of Power – The Concert.

Our Story

Kirkland Fine Arts Center, on Millikin University's campus is alive and well. The Center is anxiously awaiting the day when we can present and host live entertainment for the community's enjoyment. In the interim, the auditorium will be used as a classroom for many College of Fine Arts classes as we have excellent air return as needed per COVID-19 protocol. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
