💥Happy New Year💥
WOW! “Reflections” Just a little reflection back on 2025 for your 2026 New Year’s Day pleasure! Although the largest season in theater history, not even counting our corporate & private events, it did not come without some sadness. Not only did we loose family members, we lost close friends, and we lost the legendary ACE FREHLEY, that was scheduled to perform at the LST for the 2nd time. We also, nearly lost Dave Mason, that was also scheduled to perform, but is now doing much better and retired. None of this would have been possible without all of our loyal partners, sponsors, contractors, volunteers, production team, marketing team, hospitality team, ticketing, security team, our 343 BBQ team, acts, and yes, the loyal fans that understand the commitment & countless hours that go into keeping this ole girl running. Enjoy the look back & get ready for 2026! Scroll through and leave us a comment below on what your favorite event of 2025 was 👀 🎼💥 (Tap on Happy New Year image)

📢SHOUTOUT📢
Very special shout out to our good friend Cavin Smith. Cavin donated his “real” original vintage Gibson Les Paul “Gold Top” Bass guitar, to the Historic Lincoln Square Theater. We had this very special vintage guitar signed by the legendary Rudy Sarzo, during his incredible performance with ‘Quiet Riot’, this past Monday night at the LST! This guitar will be proudly displayed in the theater right next to the Les Paul Gold top guitar signed by all the members of QR! Many may remember Cavin as the bass player for the local 80’s rock band Dionysos, and he is also the sound tech for both ‘Jonny Vodka’ & ‘Lady Luck’ bands. Thank you Cavin! That is extremely monumental of you! 🙏 🤘🏻✌🏼🤛🏼 🎸

🎵Bang your Head🎵
That is exactly what was done tonight as ‘Quiet Riot’ rolled into Decatur, IL. and put on an incredible performance to a packed house on a Monday night, to close out a phenomenal season for 2025! Presented by Clean Cut Painting & Handyman of Decatur, the night was high energy from start to finish, and both bands were great! ‘Big Guns’ out of Champaign, IL. proved to be the perfect opener for QR, before they came out and just rocked the historic Lincoln Square Theater!
We just continue to provide world-class entertainment and bring in revenue to downtown Decatur! Thank you so much to all you fans that came out tonight in terrible cold & windy weather, during the week and supported the entertainment & the venue! I first must thank our staff! They continue to just get better with every show, and now being cross-trained to serve everyone even better! Special thank you to all our partners…Clean Cut Painting & Handyman, Cromwell Media Services, Refreshment Services Pepsi, DACVB, LaGondola Spaghetti House, Wheels & Deals, SoundCheck Music Store, Decatur Tribune, & Comfort Inn & Suites of Decatur! Next up…’David Brighton’s Space Oddity’- Quintessential David Bowie Tribute show, on Jan 10, 2026.

🔥 WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🔥

Big Guns didn’t just open the show — they ignited the Lincoln and had the crowd primed and ready for Quiet Riot from the very first note. From start to finish, it was a packed house on their feet, feeding off the energy that never let up.

Rudy Sarzo absolutely owned the stage, commanding the bass like a force of nature. Jizzy Pearl poured his heart into every lyric, delivering a performance that was raw, powerful, and unforgettable. Alex Grossi’s lead guitar work left jaws on the floor — the kind of playing that makes you forget to breathe.

And Johnny Kelly? 💥
He didn’t just play the drums — he went to war with them. The night reached peak insanity when he hit so hard that the head of the bass drum literally gave its life for rock and roll, shattering under the sheer force of the moment. That’s not something you see every day — and you had to be there to believe it.

The sound was absolutely epic, the energy was electric, and the entire night was nothing short of phenomenal. This is why live music matters. This is why the Lincoln rocks. 🤘🔥

If you missed it… you missed history.
