If you love the flouncy, textural look, you NEED to hear this…
This is an example of one of our bouquets upon arrival vs after about 90 minutes out of water for the ceremony and photos. For context, this was a hot and windy June day. Not to brag but…. we are pretty proud of how it held up 😏
That said, results for this may vary and that’s something to keep in mind if you plan on displaying bouquets throughout the evening. Sun and wind will be the killers for delicate stems like sweet pea, scabiosa, cosmos, poppies, and peonies. As you can see in the video, this bouquet still looks PHENOMENAL but the lavender scabiosa is starting to tattle that this bouquet has been out and about. (Shockingly the sweet pea still looks brand new though!)
Obviously there’s not much you can do as a bride to control the weather, but you CAN control which florist you choose. At Velvet Ant Studio, quality and artistic vision are our highest priorities - you can count on us to help you determine flower choices for your big day that will honor both. We are booking 2026 and 2027 weddings and would LOVE to dream up our wildest ideas yet for you ❤️🔥 tap the link in our bio to inquire.
