Our Founder and Creative Director, Shezad Manjee, and Chief of Staff, Anar Amin, recently attended the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Opportunity Summit, joining business, community, and civic leaders from across North Texas for conversations centered on economic growth, workforce development, and expanding opportunity.

As we celebrate the work behind this year’s Telly Award wins, we’re proud to spotlight Water is Basic and the Bronze-winning project “What If?”, recognized in the Craft – Use of Generative AI category.

Water is Basic is a nonprofit focused on restoring broken water wells and empowering local communities across South Sudan through sustainable access to clean water.

“What If?” explored how emerging creative tools can support storytelling in new ways while staying grounded in a very real human mission. The piece combined generative AI techniques with documentary-driven storytelling to imagine what’s possible when creativity and purpose intersect.

DHD Films recently partnered with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages on a studio production that combined tabletop product cinematography, visual effects, and LED virtual production.

One of the creative challenges involved designing a custom magnetic rig that allowed the bottle to spin naturally before being lifted directly from the frame. From concept to ex*****on, every element was carefully engineered to achieve the final effect on camera.

Projects like this are a reminder that great production often happens at the intersection of creativity, technical problem-solving, and collaboration. Proud of the team that brought this one to life.

DHD Films took on San Francisco ✈️ — capturing another episode in Athena’s “The Art of Delegation” series.

We sat down with Dr. Erin Stratta, a global health and emergency medicine physician whose career has taken her from the Peace Corps to the front lines of the pandemic. In this interview, she shared how clear communication across cultures and high-pressure situations is essential to effective care, as well as her three-step approach to delegation, team connection, and clarifying objectives.

From voice journaling to mindful moments of pause, Dr. Stratta reminded us that resilience is more than endurance — it’s what creates space for curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Filmed on location in San Francisco, this project is part of Athena’s 11-city series exploring how leaders around the world use delegation to scale impact and lead with purpose.
