Happy National Pralines Day!
Cue the sweet tooth—today we’re celebrating those rich, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth treats we all love. Whether you like them soft and creamy or with a little crunch, pralines are basically happiness in candy form.

Classic Southern Pralines Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
4 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups pecans
Instructions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, brown sugar, butter, and evaporated milk.
Stir constantly until the mixture reaches a soft-ball stage (about 235–240°F or thickened and bubbly).
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pecans.
Beat the mixture for 1–2 minutes until it begins to thicken slightly.
Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let cool until set.
